Enter a world of shapeshifting beasts, dreamlike landscapes and unexpected possibilities at the Digital Arts Space at The Music Center. BEASTS is a participatory installation that invites visitors to encounter and become “gwoemul,” shapeshifting beasts from Korean folklore. Created by artists Scarlett Kim and Anthony Storniolo, this free, self-guided experience transports visitors of all ages to a retro futuristic world suspended between Seoul and Los Angeles, where mythology, memory and possibility converge.
